"When I started as an engineer in Germany in the late 70s, we used a lot of Telefunken V72 and V76s, especially on vocals. Those units have become rare and very expensive. The Mercury M72s is a wonderful remake of those mic-pres and sounds every bit as good. If you need something to sound big, use the Mercury M72s, it is my goto mic pre for vocals and most acoustic instruments. Sounds Amazing!"
